Transactional Analysis and Identity
In 2024 Amanda delivered a workshop at the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA) national conference. Entitled Script, culture, identity and the foster care experience Amanda drew on her own experiences of being in the care system to look at the way in which foster care experiences impact the way in which we perceive our identity, our understanding of culture, our sense of belonging and the way in which we make sense of the world around us.
Amanda delivered a similar session at the World Transactional Analysis Conference in Montpellier, France in August 2025. The workshop was entitled ‘Who am I? Id’entity, Belonging and the Foster Care Experience
